Trails in the area are very diverse and excellent for biking, including Miller Peninsula,
Burnt hill, Olympic Discovery Trail, and Gold Creek – just to name a few. The Miller
Peninsula is a very nice trail system for people that don’t want very aggressive
mountain biking. The beach trail is mostly double track and fairly flat.
The Olympic Discovery Trail system is one of the most popular trails in the area for recreational cycling. If you want a leisurely ride on your hybrid or mountain bike, the Olympic Discovery Trail would be a good one for you. At this time, you can ride your bike almost all the way to Port Angeles form Sequim without battling car traffic. Eventually the trail will be connected from Port Townsend to Forks. (trail map coming soon)
Burnt Hill and Gold Creek are trails for the more aggressive mountain biker. They
can be very steep, challenging, and technical at times. Be prepared for rocks, loose
gravel, roots, branches, mud, and standing water.
